Nature of request
The Trumwyns request a speedy remedy so that they may recover the lands and tenements, goods and chattels that are Joan's dower as Roger de Trumwyn gave the king surety that he would behave loyally to the king and Sapy was ordered to deliver the lands and tenements but has been prevented by certain malefactors and disturbers of the peace. They request that they can have amends for the trespasses and outrages, and a suitable punishment for the disobediences.
Nature of endorsement
When the return has been viewed in Chancery, let the keepers of the lands etc. be ordered to make execution etc., and if they find resistance they should do what pertains to their office. And let the keepers and lords of neighbouring lands be ordered to aid them in this when required by the aforesaid keepers etc.
