- The merchants request that a point contained in a charter granted to them by the king's father concerning speedy justice given to merchants before bailiffs and ministers of fairs, cities and boroughs excluding cases of crime be granted in a special charter so that indictments of crime on merchants of the duchy are able to be tried by a jury of half the size as is used in all other cases.
