Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition dates to c. 1319 as entries in the close rolls relating to Amice Fitz Eustace's dower date to 17th and 18th of January 1319 (CCR 1318-23, pp.51, 121). In addition Avice Fitz Eustace was granted a licence to marry whomsoever she wished on 20 January 1319, a licence that must be close in date to this petition, and seems totally to contradict the response to the petition (CFR 1307-19, p.390).
