Gough requests that it be granted that he have his maintenance of food, clothing and all other necessaries in the abbey of Maenan, and that the abbot and convent given him their charter on this.

[On face:]This petition is heard by the king's will, and because he never professed in England in any house to which he had been sent, he asks that he be driven into his own land to reside forever amongst those he knows.[On dorse:]To Lord William de Ermyne.By brother Luke.
