- Claverynge requests that the king will command the justices of the Bench that they proceed to judgment in the matter of the manor of Iver. Claverynge's ancestors held the manor by the gift of King John by the service of a knight, but Marshal distrained them to make suit and service at the court of the king of Wallingford, and the matter was put before the justices of the Bench after Claverynge appealed to parliament, but they will not proceed without consulting the king.1)
