Desquiotz requests that the king command that his vessel and merchandises be restored to him, and that he have the damages and losses that he has incurred, and that Jacob John and Philipot Trompier be arrested. His ship was seized on coming to Normandy under safe-conduct and he cannot have restitution.
Nature of endorsement
A writ is to be directed to Stonart to appear before the council in the morrow of Hillary under penalty of 1,000 marks.And another is to be directed to the sheriff of Cornwall to deliver the writ and to certify etc. lords of the council before the day given.
