- [Petition in 3 parts:]1) Montague requests that the constable and marshal be commanded to certify on certain documents in a dispute pending between the petitioner and John Montague.2) Montague requests that the constable and marshal be given the power to compel those who are to give evidence.3) Montague requests that the commissioners can be reduced from 3 to 2 in the hearing of the case as it has been difficult to get 3 to appear together to the earl's great impediment.
