- The petition is dated to 1412 as Somer was granted the farm of the manor of Kempton on 19 April 1412 (CPR 1408-13::pp.394-5). The petition cannot be any later than 18 September 1413 when one John Athelbrigg was granted the office formerly held by Sheffield ().
