Nature of request
Bowet requests the grant of the keeping of the forest of Exmoor in Devon with a messuage of Newton Plecy, and with the park of the same vill of Newton Plecy in Somerset which are in the king's hand during the minority of Edmund de Mortimer. He requests that he can hold it during the minority, and he requests this notwithstanding a grant of a 10 mark annuity granted to him to be taken from the honour of Pontefract.
