Rostob, Fosse, Vanford and Grole request a commission to John Arnold for the recovery of their ships, goods and merchandise or their value from the malefactors John Seint Jermyn and others who took them on the passage between England and Zeeland. If the malefactors will not make payment or restitution then they request that Arnold have power to arrest them to make them appear before the king so that they can be constrained to make payment with their reasonable costs and damages.
