Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is speculatively dated to 1327-1345 on the basis of the hand, and of the guard note, that suggests a date of Edward III, and also gives reference to the original bill given to the petitioner's uncle in 1305 (Roles Gascons, vol. III, no.4964). It seems unlikely that the petition can be too far into Edward III's reign if the original bill was made in 1305.
