Mayor, jurors and commonalty of the city of Bordeaux.

Nature of request
[Petition in 3 parts:]1) The mayor, jurors and commonalty request that the king will warrant to them a certain retinue of men-at-arms and archers and their wages for the term of the war to prevent harm to the city and the other loyal subjects.2) They request that in times of war and necessity that all manner of people residing in the city regardless of their liberties and privileges contribute to the construction, repair and maintenance of the city.3) They request that no wine of the country be sold in the castle contrary to the liberties of the city the porters of the castle and other ministers have been so doing.
