Nature of request
Writ of Edward III to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer ordering them to view the inquisition concerning the bailiwick of Scalby and the payment of the arrears of the farm by the Bigods.
Nature of endorsement
It is found that the bailiwick did not pertain to the manor and forest of Pickering, and that if Bigod forfeited then the forfeiture was due to the king.
