Nature of request
[Petition in 3 parts:]1) Coussada requests the king's aid so he can continue to serve as he has been captured by the French in the wars of Guyenne and now his household has been captured and he has nothing to live on or maintain his estate.2) He requests that he can have £50 sterling annually during his life to be taken from the houses that are at the Ombriere of the castle of Bordeaux.3) He requests that he be granted letters patent that he is able to be a burgess of Bordeaux where he will live as a loyal liege.

[On face, there is a response to the second and third requests, the first perhaps not being a proper request, but an introduction to the actual requests forming parts 2 and 3:]1) The king wishes that he have £100 Bordelais.2) The king will be advised.[On dorse, none].
