Nature of request
Order from Scarborough, Pole and Fitz Dieu to the sheriff of Yorkshire to make 24 burgesses and other law-worthy people before them on the Saturday next after the feast of St Dunstan the Bishop at Kingston upon Hull for an inquisition that Scarborough and the others have been commanded to hold concerning the seizure of a boat of Kingston and the goods of Raceburgh.

Ralph de Hastings ordered Bedeford and Camery, bailiffs of the liberty of Kingston upon Hull who answered just as appears in the panel sewn to this order.The sheriff answers that the original writ of the king is attached to this order.
