Glauntforbrigge requests that the chancellor be commanded to send writs to Windsor and the justices to proceed to judgment in the suit that Glauntforbrigge has brought for the king against the archbishop of Dublin and Fitz Ellis concerning the right to present to the archdeaconry of Glendalough notwithstanding the archbishop's writ of prorogation purchased before he left for England. He also requests that Fitz Ellis' confirmation to the church of Wicklow be repealed.

The petition dated to c. 1374 as the ratification of Fitz Ellis's estate in the archdeaconry was revoked on 21 November 1374, but then ratified again on 27 March 1375 (CPR 1374-7, pp.31, 84). It is not clear whether the petition postdates these two entries, or whether the first entry was in response to the petition.
