Nature of request
Loudham requests that the chancellor be commanded to do justice to the petitioner concerning the ferry of St Olave between Herringfleet and Haddiscoe, and that charters granting the ferry to Chirbury be repealed. The ferry descended through the Loudham family to him and the king took it into his hand without reason or regard for Loudham and granted it to Chirbury.
