Beatrich requests that it be ordered in the Bench or elsewhere that his right to the inheritance of land and rent in Dartford by inheritance from his kinsman, Robert Bicknor be tried, and if the truth be found as detailed by Beatrich that he is able to enjoy the inheritance without disturbance. While he was in Ireland in the company of the duke of Clarence Woodrow procured for Veille to claim the inheritance as next heir though he had no claim, and has delayed Beatrich from his inheritance.

The petition dates to c. 1365 as John de Bicknor, known as la 'Veel' granted the inheritance to the king on 22 June 1365, and this is unlikely to very distant in date from the petition. The petition cannot be later than October 1368 when the duke of Clarence died.
