Nature of request
The friars request a pardon of the trespass that they did in entering the piece of land that Joan Lydiard granted to Edward I to the friars' use together with the spring on the land and the conduit to the house of the friars in the suburbs as they believed that they did not need a further licence. They request that they can hold it without further impeachment to Lydiard's intent namely 2 masses annually.
