[Petition in 2 parts:]1) Cauchon requests that all his goods and chattels be taken into the king's protection and safe-keeping by his letters patent, and that they make express mention of his church and that he is able to enjoy it peacefully and without impeachment notwithstanding the war as he is French.2) He requests a safe-conduct for 3 months to go to France and return to England with 2 valets and 3 horses.
