Nature of request
Writ of Edward III to the treasurer and chamberlains ordering them to certify if Mountflour was paid for the delivery of the crown of England.
Nature of endorsement
The account of Mountflour was examined and he charged £1,000 from the subsidy of 600 sacks of wool sold to Pouche on delivery of the great crown. In his account he had a surplus of £716 3s. 10d., so that it was supposed that Mountflour was paid £1,000 for the delivery of the crown.
