Lynton requests that Macclesfield and the abbot of Our Lady of Graces be warned by scire facias to be in Chancery to say why their letters patent granting them the hospital of St Giles should not be repealed and the petitioner received to the hospital. Macclesfield and the abbot have both been granted the hospital by the king against the grant made by the king's progenitors to the predecessors of the petitioner.
