- The commons request that the king consider their poverty and remit the subsidy of 3 groats [poll tax] granted at the parliament of Northampton which they cannot pay if they are to pay the fifteenth granted in the present parliament.
- Nature of endorsement
- The demand for the groats should cease until the fifteenth has been levied in the county, and let there be a writ to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer of to cease their demands in the meantime until they have another order.
