Shyngle requests that he can found a chantry in the chapel of St Anne that he recently rebuilt by the king's grant and that he is able to purchase up to £10 of land or rent annually to maintain a chaplain and a mason to repair the Monk's Bridge over the River Dove between Staffordshire and Derbyshire. The bridge was damaged by floods and he was granted that he could rebuild the chapel and houses and hold the same for his life for the support of the bridge.
