Nature of request
Writ to the sheriff of Sussex commanding him that he make Pobelowe appear coram rege in Chancery in the quindene of Michaelmas next to show or say as to why his presentation to the prebend of Highleigh should not be revoked, Kirkby having, by his petition, complained that he had been presented to it by the bishop.
Nature of endorsement
Pebelawe is to be made to come by Blundett and Russell before the king in Chancery in the quindene of Michaelmas to hear, do and receive as the writ requires.Kirkby and Pebelawe came by their attorneys and were given another day to the octave of St Hillary next.They were given a day to Easter next.They were given a day to the quindene of Michaelmas next.
