Note (Additional information about the record)
- The handwriting would suggest a date in the late-fourteenth or early-fifteenth century. However, the signature at the foot, which appears to read 'North', is probably that of the Earl of Northumberland, and hence would indicate a date between Henry Percy's creation as earl in 1377 and his rebellion in 1405.
