Note (Additional information about the record)
- As noted on the guard, the reference to Richard, Earl of Arundel and Surrey, would seem to date the petition to some point between 1377 and 1397. However, as also noted, Arundel and others were granted the keeping of the priory on 11 September 1383, and it seems likely that the petition dates from around that time.
