Nature of request
The petitioners request that the king order the sheriffs of Northumberland to arrest Drew and bring him before the king and the council. They state that Roger stood surety for Drew in a bond that he would accompany Ferrers on the Bishop of Norwich's journey to Flanders, but Drew failed to go, and Roger was arrested and has been in prison for over five years.
