The petitioners state that Agnes held certain property in Beverley worth £20 per year, with reversion to her sons, but that Thomas Lumbard has ousted them from this, and they have been unable to secure remedy as Thomas has letters of protection issued in relation to his office as controller of Bordeaux. They therefore request that the king cancel the letters of appointment and protection issued to Thomas, and summon him and others before him.
