Thomas de Swynburne states that the king lately granted him the reversion of the keeping of Hammes Castle in the march of Picardy, to have following the death of Holme, and an annuity of 100 marks at the Exchequer to take during Holme's life. He states that he and Holme have agreed to exchange these grants, and requests that he be allowed to take over the castle of Hammes and that Holme be granted the 100 marks annuity for the term of his life.
