Note (Additional information about the record)
- Date on the guard to c. 1377-86, but no evidence cited. However it clearly dates to the reign of Richard II, and the appearance of Burley's signature clearly dates it to before his trial and execution in 1388. The endorsement is similar to those found on others in this file from c. 1383 (e.g. SC 8/222/11088).
