Nature of request
William de Kyrkestede requests that he be restored to the prebendary of Leighton Buzzard, from which he has been ousted by Stasy. He states that Pope Urban ordered the church of Lincoln to present him to a prebend, and he was appointed to Leighton Buzzard following Gynwell's death. However, after holding it for half a year, the king presented Stasy, even though the king has no right to make such a presentment.
