The Dukes of Lancaster and York and the Earl of Derby request that they be issued writs allowing them to assemble their people in order to come into the king's presence, notwithstanding any earlier orders to the contrary.
Nature of endorsement
[on face] The king wills that the supplicants have pardon for them and their people for the muster they have made since 10 August and which they shall be at the next parliament, namely the Duke of Lancaster with 300 men at arms and 600 archers, the Duke of ork with 100 men at arms and 200 archers, and the Earl of Derby with 200 men at arms and 400 archers in support of the king, and that they may levy the sum from the people for performing this order.The Earl of Huntingdon.
