Nature of request
The Abbot of Colchester requests remedy. He states that John Haverland, in making his will, enfeoffed Clerk, Clerk, Flysp and Wryght with certain tenements in Colchester, intending that they then enfeoff other people to be named by the Abbot to sell those tenements, and for the money to be given to the abbey. However, these four men refuse to make the enfeoffment, and retain the tenements to their own use.
