Juliana Alkelye states that her husband bought a tenement and appurtenances in the manor of Tockington for the term of the lives of himself, his wife and their daughter, Edith, and they had possession from Poyns, the lord of the manor. However, when Nicholas died, they were forcibly dispossessed by Webbe, and have been unable to recover their rights, and she requests the king's assistance.

Note
Dated on the guard to 1386, with reference to C 81/1352, no.52, a chancery warrant issued in response to a petition from this petitioner. It is dated 22 July, and although no year is given, it was dated at Bristol, which would seem to indicate 1386, the only year when Richard II is known to have been at Bristol on that date.
