Nature of request
Thomas, Archbishop of Canterbury requests that he may be granted a messuage and five acres of land in Little Chart, and also licence to grant this property to Brokhill. He states that this land formed a parcel of the manor of Little Chart, which the king's progenitors granted to the Prior and convent of Holy Trinity, but Robert, former prior of Holy Trinity, alienated this land to the Sorryndenns without licence.
