Nature of request
The prior and convent of Llanthony Secunda request that they be allowed to incorporate and annex the churches of St Owen in Gloucester, Painswick and Prestbury to their priory, notwithstanding the statute of mortmain, in accordance with the king's earlier grant at Gloucester.
Nature of endorsement
On 3 May the Duke of Surrey delivered this petition to the Bishop of Exeter in the chancery in order that the king may show grace to this bill.
