Agnes Horn requests the king's assistance in securing an annuity of £20 from the bailiffs of Winchelsea, which had been granted to her lat husband for his service but which the bailiffs are now refusing to pay.
Nature of endorsement
Bartholomew Godard, who has the money, should pay the money to two just men of the town to the use of the children of John Horn. And this should be done by the view of Stephen de Penchester. And after this is done, the bailiffs of Winchelsea should have allocation in their farm.
