William and Maud de Wauton request that the king grant an attaint of an inquest made against them, relating to a writ of entry between the petitioners and Geoffrey Paunfilus, whereby William de Wauton vouched to warranty William Giffard. Giffard denied the warranty, procured the false inquest against Wauton.

Assigned by PROME to the Michaelmas parliament of 1290, although the enrolment of the parliament roll is incomplete. The note on the guard suggesting a date of c.1295 is made only on the strength of an unrelated Close Roll reference mentioning the petitioners.
