Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated by Bain to c. 1329. Prendergast was restored to the lands taken from him on account of the war with Scotland in May 1330, and it seem likely that this petition pre-dates that restoration. An earlier petition, seemingly that which led to the inquest mentioned here, is mentioned in the roll for the York parliament of 1318.
