Nature of request
William de Toulouse makes a number of requests.1) He requests that he be appointed Treasurer of the Agenais, in the same terms as Mounteclare.2) He requests payment for 13 horses taken by the king.3) He requests letters to the kings of Spain and Navarre to allow him or his attorney to bring 30 horses through their territory, and a letter of safe-conduct for this.4) He requests permission to ship 1000 tuns of wine to Bordeaux free of customs, as compensation for a bill from Mollie sealed by the Chamberlain of Scotland worth £80, which has been destroyed in a fire.5) He requests letters confirming to him the house of Golfech, which had formerly belonged to the Templars.6) He requests letters stating that he, his wife and his mother are not responsible for certain items of silver sent to them by Castillon, belonging to Frescobaldi.
