Note
Dated on the guard to c. 1292, with reference to the endorsement. This is indistinct, but appears to refer to the king's twentieth year (from the handwriting clearly Edward I, and hence 1291-2). Given the format, this document could form a general eyre plaint from the Shropshire eyre held in the winter of 1292 (D Crook, Records of the General Eyre, p.175).
