- The Abbot and Canons of Creake state that Henry III granted them and their church ten pounds of annual rent from the manor of Rothersthorpe, and granted that, should it ever be resumed, the canons would be provided with an exchange to the same value. King Henry resumed this after they had been seised for ten years, without making recompense.
