John de Courtehope requests that he be delivered from Maidstone gaol, where he has been committed on his conviction by the king's father's justices on charges of trespass in Dovedale's park at Laughton and the Archbishop's park at Broyle, on payment of the necessary fine.
Nature of endorsement
If he was imprisoned on conviction for trespass, and at the king's suit and not that of a private person, and for nothing else, then take a fine for the trespass and security according to the form of the statute and deliver him.
