Robert de Ashton, former justiciar of Ireland, requests that the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer of Ireland be ordered to make an allowance in the account of Robert de Lythum, his clerk of wages, for wages and regards paid to men at arms and English archers retained by him in addition to his agreed retinue, in place of certain other soldiers which were to be paid from the revenues of Ireland. He also requests allowance for a further eighteen archers retained between 21 June 1372 and 28 October 1373.
