Richard and Edmund Derham state that their family have long held a free sheepfold in East Dereham. However, Stanton and Alpe have lately gathered a force and broken into the fold and stolen their sheep, and have also assaulted Edmund in the church at East Dereham. They therefore request that the council summon Stanton and Alpe before them to answer these charges.
