Nature of request
John de la Moore makes two requests for his clients, relating to letters sent to the council by the king and the ambassadors at Calais.1) He requests payment for, or the restitution of, various goods seized from Alexander de Vos, merchant and burgess of Bruges, taken from his ship by Mykstoke, to the value of 140 nobles.2) He requests remedy regarding goods worth £195 taken by Mykstoke from a ship belonging to Leys and his colleagues during its voyage from La Rochelle to Sluis.
