Merchants of the Hanse residing in England.

Nature of request
The petitioners state that they have been granted a licence for a ship of Zeeland, of which Brusson is master, to travel with its load of cloth and other goods from London to Zeeland and Frankfurt. They request that a writ be issued to the officials of London to allow this voyage to take place, that they give them advice concerning the last voyage made to those parts by their ambassadors, and that they be granted safe-conduct for their return.
Nature of endorsement
On 9 March in the fourteenth year, at the Friars Preachers in London, it was agreed by the lords of the king's council that notwithstanding any earlier ordinance that no vessels or ships should pass out of the ports. The chancellor of England make writs of passage under the king's great seal for the ship within written and the merchandises within at the instance of the merchants of Cologne.
