Hauley requests that whereas certain men of his ships and those of others captured a ship of Zierikzee at sea, for which he received a writ to appear before the council to answer for the capture, that writs should also be sent to the other lords and masters of the ships present at the capture.

Dated on the guard to 1387, with reference to CCR 1385-9, p. 333 and p. 344, two 1387 orders to Hauley to make restitution for goods taken at sea from Ido Foulessang of Ziericksee and CPR 1385-9, p. 372, a 1387 mandate stating that Hauley has made satisfaction. SC 8/215/10734 is a 1387 document stating that attempts had been made to send writs to the other lords and masters of the ships present at this capture, which seems to indicate that this request was granted.
