Nature of request
Hethe and Lakyngheth request a special assize because John Haras, senior and junior, Edmund Haras, Hore and atte Lane, after it was ordained that no assize should be held during this voyage, have disseised the petitioners of their free tenements in Herringswell, Freckenham and Tuddenham.
Nature of endorsement
They should take oath before the chancellor that the disseisin was made after the ordinance and also that those who disseised him were not on the expedition overseas in the King's service, and they should have a special assize in which the justices should be assigned from Cavendish, Hunden, Walsham, Gurney, Holkham and Walsingham, provided that Cavendish is one.
